FINAL
Charlotte Hornets 123 (12-30) - New Orleans Pelicans 92 (12-34)
WHY DID THEY WIN? (AND OTHER IMPORTANT STORIES)
The Hornets were better in just about every single statistical category tonight and it shows as they had a lead as large as 33 in this one and were rarely challenged.
Charlotte shot the lights out from just about everywhere going 50% from the field, 72% from the free throw line, and 42% from three.
The bench was big tonight for Charlotte outscoring the Pelicans reserves 52-13. Led by Steph Curry’s 16 points, there was no let down regardless of lineup in this game and the Pelicans had very little chance to make runs.
Wow…just a total domination by the Hornets tonight. They scored at least 30 points in each quarter tonight and held New Orleans under 30 in all four. To say the Hornets were due a night where they completely dominated the competition would be the understatement of the century but it doesn’t make it any less true.
