WHY DID THEY LOSE? (AND OTHER IMPORTANT STORIES)

• Some really good minutes for the young guys late in this one. Miles and Nurk sat during crunch time and let the youth of the Hornets battle back against a physical, hard-fighting New Orleans Pelicans group. All in all it was a good effort for the young guys led by NSJ, K.J. and Moussa. Execution down the stretch was definitely in favor of New Orleans led by Jose Alvarado. He’s a pest on defense and he really does a nice job of creating things on offense. He seems to make plays when they’re available or find plays when they’re not.

• We must continue to remind ourselves that entertainment, not outcome, is all we should be worries about during these final few games. The Hornets want to have as much of a chance as possible to get that top draft pick in the draft.

• No more talk about the top pick in the draft after that…I am not going to let us be crushed again.
